Polish Tank PL 01

how to fall asleep fast military method

OBRUM Systems' advanced tank, the PL-01 was developed in collaboration with BAE Systems. The PL-01 was revealed for the first time in 2013. It is a modified version of the Swedish CV90120T medium tank. It has a primary weapons consisting of a either 105mm, or 120mm cannon in an unmanned turret.

Adaptiv Technology

The new Polish tank pl-01, which is being developed by Boeing, can be used to disguise its radar and heat signatures. The entire vehicle is thought to be covered with radio-absorbing materials. It also has an exhaust cooling system that makes it difficult to detect.

Invisible Armor

This tank is supposed to have armor that is so good at absorbing incoming radiation that it can be completely invisible to enemy radars. It is also believed to be capable of controlling the temperature of its armored surfaces, and fooling thermal sensors.

Modern tanks have adaptediv technology as a major feature. This is because it conceals vehicles better than traditional radar reflective coatings. The Adaptiv technology employs hexagonal Peltier plates that absorb or reflect light to make the tank almost invisible in poor weather or at night.

It's also claimed to be able fool both infrared and visual sensors. The Adaptiv technology is believed to be able to reduce the radar and heat signatures of the PL-01, but it is still not clear how this will work or what it will do to the overall vehicle.

Polish Army

The Polish army currently owns around 900 main-battle tanks. The most common are the PT-91 Twardys, and Leopard 2s. The PL-01 is an interesting modern tank that will be a very important vehicle for the Polish military in the future.

This tank can support three crew members as a direct fire support vehicle and is intended to work in tight spaces such as urban combat zones. The tank is equipped with either a 105mm and 120mm smoothbore gun that can fire both conventional rounds and anti-tank guided missiles. It can store 29 rounds in its autoloader, and 16 more rounds in the turret.

The other armament include a 7.62mm machine gun, remote-controlled weapon station, and a 40mm automated grenade launcher.

Obrum has developed the PL-01 prototype direct-fire, support tank. Technical assistance from British conglomerate BAE Systems is also provided. It is a 7 meter long, 3.8 meter wide and 2.8 meter high vehicle with a standard weight of 30 tons and can increase to 35 tons with additional armor panels.

Interior

The PL-01's crew will find it comfortable and convenient. It includes a "crew members safety capsule" inside its chassis, multilayer ceramic armor, modern crew seats, and modern crew's chairs that reduce the effects from mines or IED blasts. The hull is protected from STANAG 4569 Level 4a and 4b and is also fitted with an anti-mine coating for all its sides.
