A fighter jet is a military aircraft designed specifically for air-to-air combat. These aircraft can typically be used to strike far-off targets at great speed and are extremely useful in any conflict.
Pakistan Air Force is home to a vast fleet of fighter jets. They are used to defend the country against any incoming attack and carry out other duties. These aircraft are highly-trained and capable of performing their duties effectively. They are also famous for their enchanting displays during flypasts and air shows.
These events are attended by almost all active PAF fighter aircraft, and the results are amazing. To commemorate patriotic events such as Pakistan Resolution Day (23rd march), Defence Day (6th september) and Independence Day (14) August), these aircraft are flown by highly skilled pilots.

JF-17 Block #3
The JF-17 Block 3 is a lightweight, multirole fighter that first flew in late 2019. It is widely recognized as a 4.5th-generation aircraft. This aircraft has significant improvements over its predecessors. It offers advanced avionics features and weapons capabilities which give it considerable advantages over the Indian fighters - many of whom lack similar radars or missiles.
It is Pakistan's most modern fleet and boasts a highly sophisticated radar, weaponry and avionics suite. Pakistani government plans to purchase at minimum 50 of these aircraft. First JF-17 Block 3s should arrive in late 2019.
The Pakistani JF-17 is an essential part of its arsenal. It is an air-to air fighter capable of carrying out all types of missions including air-to ground strikes. It has been proven to be an effective weapon against Indian missile defence systems.
The JF-17 has superior armament. This makes it a cost-effective option for modernizing fighter units to a higher level and allowing them to field cutting edge sensors and data links. This makes the JF-17 a candidate to replace Pakistan's obsolete Cold War-era Mirage (and J-7) fighters.

It can also be used to destroy surface-to air missiles in flight by employing the highly effective countermeasure system "Crosshair". Crosshair is able to track and detect enemy aircraft, and then engage them with a precise fire rate.
Another vital part of Pakistan's jets' armament are the IR/LDWS systems, which can kill ground-based targets from air. This is used by the Pakistani army as well as other forces to attack enemy territories without having to contact them directly.
J-10C
The J-10C Chinese-built fighter jet is a critical part of Pakistani Armed Forces' arsenal. It has been designed to be an omnirole aircraft capable of performing all types of missions. On Friday, the aircraft was officially commissioned into Pakistan's air force. This ceremony was attended by Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan and heads of Pakistan's Armed Forces. The ceremony also was broadcast nationally.
