The J20 is a military-friendly aircraft. Its twin-seat configuration is ideal for electronic warfare and bombing. It is also equipped with a domestic engine that eliminates the dependence on Russian engines. It could be used for surveillance, electronic warfare, and command of wingman drones. The United States Air Force could use this type of aircraft in many different situations.
WS-15 Emei turbofans
Chinese military has developed a stealth plane called the J-20. This fighter will fly at 2,100 kph. It has two lateral missile bays with four hardpoints each and an internal cannon. It also includes a chin mounted infrared/optic scan and track sensor as well as an AESA Radar.

Metamaterials
Recently, CCTV aired a series on military aircraft development entitled "Great Country's Great Weapons", which revealed the development of a new type of aircraft that would use metamaterials in its cockpit. Among the planes that could benefit from this technology are J-20 and J-16 fighter jets. In addition, the J-15 carrier-based aircraft has already entered the mass production stage.
Lock-on capability following launch
Four PL-15 medium to long-range, air-to–air missiles (AAMs) are included in the J-20. The missiles are very similar to the American AIM-120D AMRAAM but are equipped with dual-pulse engines and AESA. Their mission: to penetrate enemy fighter-cover and destroy their enablers.
Conversion of air-to ground weapons
J-20 combat aircraft demonstrated the new missile-launch system during a recent flight demonstration. This mechanism is simple but effective. J-20 number 2202 was equipped during flight with a short-range missile air-to–air (also called the PL-10). The missile was then detached and released from the aircraft using an ejection mechanism.

Chengdu J-20 stealth fighter
The Chengdu J-20 stealth-fighter cockpit has a long fuselage measuring 23 meters in length and a diameter that is 2 meters. It has a frameless canopy with a frameless canopy. The nose of the Chengdu J-20 stealth fighter cockpit is carved. While it is not entirely clear what its primary mission is, it is likely to break through enemy fighter cover to knock out its enablers.
